Since I have been managing crises professionally for 20 years as a lawyer, I witnessed, how important it is, to become psychologically fit, to gain resilience and to master self-leadership. Nothing is impossible for us: We created the Swiss Ice Challenge
Perhaps the craziest fundraising event in Switzerland. For their own health and for a charitable cause, the participants hike for 90 minutes at around 2000 metres above sea level in the snow, at sub-zero temperatures over the Swiss Alps. The unusual thing: apart from their hiking boots, they wear only short, very thin sports clothing. Instead of a cold, all participants leave this CHALLENGE with a strengthened immune system and a new attitude to life, while supporting projects for a good cause.
WHO, WHAT, WHY
ERNA Foundation
The ERNA Foundation existed since 2015 as subfoundation under the umbrella of the Rütli Foundation in Lucerne. In autumn 2018, the ERNA Foundation hived off into an independent, non-profit foundation with the aim of supporting social projects. ERNA stands for E-thics, R-ights, N-ature and A-wareness, and also places its focus on precisely these four areas. The ERNA Foundation therefore supports non-profit projects that recognise the ethical responsibility of each and every person with respect to others, nature and themselves.
